Creating Repair History

It is good to write your repair history for future use in a one notebook or to your laptop or personal computer. What kind of consumer electronics it is? It is a crt tv,lcd tv, computer monitor, lcd monitor,dvd player, a radio and so on. Wrtite the Brand. Model No. Symptoms. Defects.What component you replaced? In what section or area. And on the other hand if possible list all components in the power supply, in the vertical section, horizontal section, crt section, color section, inverter section and so on. Or take a picture of it for file in case if you encounter again the said kind of electronic appliances you have some data to get. For example if there is a component that is burned in the a power supply area and that said consumer electronic/appliances you have history data, you can look into your repair data for comparison even if you dont have schematic diagram.

Protecting Yourself

As a repairer we usually used our four senses out of five. Our eyes for visual inspections of the components if it's burned,bulged or if there are some foreign objects in the board that made a contact in other electronic parts. Or even a house lizard that were burn inside the appliances we repair. So we must protect our eyes from sharp edges  or when we cut the excess  legs of resistor,capacitor, transistor, wires that sometimes strike upward when  we cut it with wire cutter. So wear a eye glass or goggle to protect our eyes because it is our senses that guide us in troubleshooting electronic board aside from our multimeter which our artificial senses which detect if the component is defective and our three senses which are hearing, smell, touch and fourth senses taste which do not use in our field of works.
Always wear face mask for protection when we are soldering or desoldering component to protect us from the smoke and lead content material that can cause cancer.






And even sometimes wear rubber gloves if needed when we used certain chemicals to protect our hands.Because our health is main capital in earning an income.Health is wealth.
